We had a late dinner with drinks and were delighted with the kind staff and incredible food and drink. A lovely experience, will certainly be returning/recommending!
Have stayed here 5 times in total. Have always loved it. But this stay will be the last. They now have a policy of locking the air-conditioning to 22 (ours wouldn't go below 23) apparently because of the "environment ". So a hot sweaty night with little sleep. Not what you expect with a 4 star motel. The water was lukewarm as well. Very disappointing. Here's a tip...charge 5 bucks more to cover the cost of the electricity and let the guests choose their own comfort levels.
We stay here as a matter of course as;
(a) the rooms are always very very clean;
(b) front office staff are always friendly, efficient and professional.
(c) location, location, location.
(d) rooms are exceptionally quiet. Perfect for a good sleep.
(e) Central city within a a few minutes walk.
(f) great selection of bars and restaurants in vicinity.

Miriam at the host desk was lovely and helped me out with a few requests which I really appreciated. Would definitely stay here again and reccomend it to first time visitors of Townsville. Cheers legends !
Modern hotel in the heart of Townsville. Rooms are small and basic but very comfortable. Perfect for 1, OK for 2 people if staying for a day or two.
Room perfect for my needs. Not so the front door, the door fit was pushing against the lock so it didnt lock or unlock. It failed after the first night so the lovely staff lady gave me another room. It was the same as the first, perfect! I would definitely go there again.
Nice hotel. Shame about not having ANY trolleys for luggage.
Checked in on a business trip with a lot of equipment. You would expect a high rise hotel to have at least one or two luggage trolleys. Having to carry 10 pieces of baggage into the a lift that keeps on closing on you is really annoying.
Please please please invest in some trolleys.
